so in searching for pc components to build myself a new pc (so im ready in time for the ps release), i came accross a website that offers electronics for really really cheap, like a lcd or xbox for $25.00. Anyone know anything about these things?

The site was www.wolltekmatrix.com

You buy an ebook and they put you on a "free item matrix" It's a scam most likely.

This is a real gem from their FAQ:
7. Is this is a Pyramid scheme?

No. There are no pyramids involved. It is a straight-line matrix. I highly recommend you steer clear of that place.

I just looked through it some more, they are not selling computers or anything of the sort. They are selling "eBooks" for highly overrated prices, and giving away "promotional items" to a small percentage of their buyers. These "eBooks" sound like crap:

$20 eBook: 5 Steps to Ultimate Online Success

$25 eBook: Create a Banner Ad that Works

$30 eBook: Start Your Internet Business Right

$40 eBook: Quitting Smoking

$50 eBook: 101 eBay Auction Secrets

I can see it now:

5 Steps to Ultimate Online Success
1. Set up a website
2. Make up 5 dumb books to sell
3. Buy some "Promotional Items" to "give away"
4. Make the website as confusing as possible describing the process, and make it look like you are selling the promotional items for extremely low prices when you are really selling one of your 5 dumb books
5. Give 1 promotional item for every 1000 customers
