My outfit (Black Hawks) has a SWG Division, im thinking about getting the game. Any Ideas? something constructive from explayers dont just say SWG<Planetside, or SWG sucks, or PS 0wns j00. Thanks

Planetside Division plays on NC Markov
SWG Division plays on Bria (i think), some planet, some city, imperials. That narrows it down

well becoming a jedi took months because in the meantime the devs had to figure out a way for you to become one, and everyone knows now so it couldnt take more than 3 months

SWG is boring. And now that jedis are in the game, It's even stupider. YAY! Now everyone is a jedi! I was hoping they wouldn't put jedis in. Now we've got another Knights of the Old Republic on our hands. Only worst.

People just mill about in the cantina and space ports asking for stuff. It sucks. Wasn't what I was expecting. I thought I would see players all over the city. Instead the cities are pretty much dead.

most cities are dead, but thats because theyre backwater places. SWG is a fun game, and the PvP from what ive heard, has had some touch ups, personaly, i liked the PvP, and i was at Ancherhead when a imperial group attacked, no ATSTs. but for a while they kicked our ass, till we pushed em out again. that was pretty fun, alot of laser fire and stuff, i made 1 kill. and SWG crafting system is better than most other MMORPGs, but, instead of say, killing a orc and getting some metal, or buying it, well, you can buy it from a player, but you can also go out and mine some yourself, which i found pretty cool. over all, the game is based on the idea that, noone should solo, and that goes for fighting, or anything, because they made it so that people will always need to interact with other people to get further in the game, like, inorder to master a class, you need to have taught skills to people that dont have them yet, not hard at all, just like, 3 clicks of a mouse to do it, and you have to be in their party. and, well, if you played back in the day, you would have been able to get the best homemade rifle, pistol or carbine in the game after playing a day or so, or rather, youd have enough money to buy it, and it would take a week to get the skills needed to use it, well, as long as it was a pistol, carbine, or rifle, there were other guns that would take a month to be able to use, IE flamethrower. now, from what i hear, the prices have been inflated, on most servers, if not all. its a good game, i personaly liked it more than FFXI, but thats me.


EDIT, oh, and there isnt a over abundance of jedi, theres like 6 at all, last time i heard, now its prolly somewhere between 7 and 24. and thats overall, in all servers.

swg: i dont really like how they put jedi in the game, everyone wants to be one, but i like how they made it really hard so that you dont have overpowered jedi n00bs running around killing everything, i saw a g4 episode where they had women that do beauty pageants playing the game, and they have these pageants to see which character is the most beautiful, and sony sponsored it and there were prizes like a one year subscription, so people actually play it normally

Those space expansion screens are from E3 2001, i honestly dont think their working on it to much. Ive played a MMORPG before (Earth and Beyond Online), I might try out Galaxies then

i played SWG the second month. It was so boring, if you want to become a crafter dont even try you dont have a chance. THe grind to get anywhere is unbelievable. And they was no WARS. THey named the game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided yet it seems like the two side peacfully coexisted.

there were wars, you just didnt look well enough, walk into a imperial town as a declared rebel, theres a "war". or sit in ancherhead as a declared rebel, and wait for a imerial attack, thats pretty fun, exept when the imps pull out their ATSTs
