How do you guys do video capture? Do you just use FRAPS on the PC that you are running PS on? or do you have a separte PC that does the capture? If you have a separte PC how does it work? I have a 9600xt as my video card. It has S video out put as well as vga. Is it possiable to use the S video to output to another PC to capture the feed?

There are a variety of ways to do it, fraps isnt too bad. I think Miir has some stuff posted on his site www.malvision.com about how he does it.

I make movies, with great FPS and quality i used the full version of Fraps 2.0, then edit all the clips in with windows movie maker and encode at (340k). Works great, you have more than enough power with your 9600XT

Fraps pretty much requires a mean computer to get footage that looks good. I hear piping the s-video out from your vid card into a DVR, you get excellent video quality. (Saw a demo video someone made using that method. Was smooth and looked beautiful)
