AM FUCKING SICK OF IT! IT LIKE EVERY TIME I DIE, ITS A FUCKING TEAMMATE WHO KILLED ME!!! INFACT, I BET I HAVE BEEN KILLED MORE BY MY TEAM THEN THE ENEMY!!!
i think they should reduce damage from teammates to like 50% of what it is now ...

Simple solution, don't play with the zerg. And if you do then don't be on the front lines, the zerg don't care who it runs over. Otherwise you'll keep dien.

Friendly Fire is apart of the game. You'll lose maybe what... five minutes tops of gameplay? Just count the losses and continue on. You're not helping your Empire out by complaining about it and then not fighting on.
I'm sure you already knew that though. :)

Yeah and since your a cloaker it's harder to see you, and with area of effect weapons we have it's harder to controle where the blast goes. Chances are if your a cloaker you'll probably die more from freidnly fire since you have less health, it's easier to see a body then a green name during a split second, and weapons such as the thumper. The flail and the liberator also add to the amount of friendly fire since it's harder for them to judge exactly everyone they are shooting at. But then again, you are also right about the people who see an enemy and go trigger happy despite the 5 friendlies between them and the enemy.

Enemy in corridor.
I am defending a admed who is resing.
A cloaker is between me and getting the first shot advantage on the enemy before he opens fire.
Kiss your cloaker ass goodbye.

Well I'm not complaining about people who do that and not saying many do. Being tked accidentally doesn't bug me in the slightest, only if someone where to tk purposely, but that happens rarly if not at all to me.
So overall, who cares about all of this. You die so much in this game it doesn't matter.

You're VS so I can understand why you're pissed about TKings.
With NC and TR its not a prob. 'cause they have JH's, MCG's. In other words, fast-moving projectiles. While us VS have the slow ass lashers and other slow energy balls. When everyone is defending a base being zerged, and their is a stalemate at the door (both sides can't get through without being molested), there are so many TKs on the vanu side...people run in front of people shooting lashers and end up dying.
If I'm shooting someone or spamming a door, I'm not stopping to let you go by.

Of course there are players who TK themselves by their actions. Example :
I and another vanu rush into the tower via the roof yesterday, we stand at the door together to get in, I go in right behind him, he knows I am there. Up the stairs runs a Jackhammer wielding NC (WHAT A SHOCK). My fellow vanu breaks right and lets loose with his lasher (ANOTHER SHOCK), so I go to the left and unload with my pulsar (YES I HATE HA). Of course the HAs concentrate on each other and sure as $h!t just as the NC is going down my fellow VS comes strafing across in front of me and gets Tked.
Now I feel bad for taking whatever little life he had left when he ran in front of me, but still he could not have possibly thought strafing between a friendly and an enemy unit was somehow a good idea. When I sent the player a tell saying sorry, the response I got was "Sigh........just get the tower noob". I went to the other side of the stairs to get a clean line of fire, so in that case I consider the player to have commited suicide at the end of my rifle.

A cloaker must treat every soldier he sees as a threat.
Being invisible, it's hardly reasonable to expect your own empire to spend the extra milliseconds identifying you as friend or foe. In fact, it's downright unfair to put the cloaking shimmer before their eyes and expect them to line up their crosshairs right over you.
If you're a cloaker, you're like Frodo in Mordor. Neither friend nor foe can be allowed to see you, or all is lost.

Let's not discount the stupidity of some cloakers as a reason for them dieing. I've been on a hillside, sniper rifle in hand, zoomed in, fired a shot and *BAM* down goes a cloaker who ran in front of me.
The other day though, I'm defending a tower, lay a boomer on the stairs and an enemy comes up, no friendlies in sight. I press the trigger and wait ten seconds for it to go off because of some kind of weird lag. Kill a friendly. I tell him "Sorry dude, dang lag spike or something." He tells me back soemthing like "I can't avoid the newbies in PS." So I told him back "And I can't avoid the jerks apparantly."
If I see him again, I will TK him, just to prove that my aim is dead on.....for a newbie.
If you do get TKed though, realize that lag, your stupidity, and many other factors go into it. If I KNOW it's intentional, there's hell to pay, but most the time it's an accident. As a cloaker, you need to realize that your name doesn't appear at long ranges unless their crosshair is almost directly over you, which means a thumper is gonne hurt!
Cloakers should never try to force their way through the zerg's front line. Take the route least populated and pray for the best.

Mudflap,
Just by reading your posts here, I can tell that you are above TK'ing someone to prove a trivial point.
Don't give in to the dark side. You're too good.

Perhaps.......but it would feel good wouldn't it? I have TKed people for killing everyone at the vehicle terminal or something like that, but not for pure revenge.....yet. But there's always a first, and it's nice to know that I can if need be. I love PS!

The spawnroom of a zerged base is the best place to drop a boomer as you surge through. You will die a few times trying to get down there, but it is SO sweet when you make it :p

If you hate being tk'd and take it really badly, don't play a cloaker. We get tk'd more than we get kiled by the enemy, jsut for the fact that so many people use AOE weapons when we are trying to go in for a kill.

i don't play for the NC, use to. but not anymore. i never got kills when i played them. all the JH users got the kills. and the poeple i had been shooting. so i went to TR. after i bit of still geting no kills (well i got some, but i was doeing more than i was killing. so i went VS, after certing in MA, and killing 2 maybe 3 peeps before dieing, i got really happy, then i started using med kits. got even more kills per death. so, here i am VS. and a cloaker who seems to draw my teams fire.
heck, i even get TK when i am sitting in a conner. no fun. but, am learning how to stay away from the tigger happy idiots who want kills soooo bad, they have to TK. then they TK some more when they don't get the kill.

good points. am starting to learn how to be a good cloaker. but the TK'es still happen. but am learning to avoid them more and more. thank you for your input.

Getting tk'ed sucks, but it comes with cloaker duty. Most of the kills are even understandable, but every single night you have to expect the Thumper Special Olympics to take place near you as well. Sad part of the game.
