Rexo Buff?

Anyone have a set date on when the rexo is going live? I thought it would be out now...*sniff*. I've been waiting for a while...

They could have simply used the current information on the weapons and rexo, added the proposed improvements to the rexo stats and calculated the new TTK. Just a guess.

With no movement speed changes that is going to be really sweet. Also it looks like if Grunts want to continue ownage they are going to have to spend 3 points and specialize themselves properly to do so

My grunt chars are also. I absolutely refuse to participate in the Surge/Agile/HA/Warp cheeze for easy kills and would rather do it the way the game was intended to work. Rexo was always intended to be the most effective HA/Shock trooper and sadly it has been broken for so long. I am really excited about this buff

Pretty simple, just raise the armor to 200, and the absorbtion to 10
Instead of 150 and 8

I'm afraid that you will no longer be able to 2-shot a rexo with the BD if there is a Healing/Health MOD present...

I hate to say it but that would make the health mod much more important, thus making the caverns more important which is a good thing IMO

You might want to look into Light scout or ground transport, i'd dump HA for them but not everyone has a conscience.

The lightning lets you throw in your chips outside, the Harrasser provides transport when you want to stay in your rexo, the Del makes a great guntruck/assault transport, and the sunderer is a POS but it lets you bring a pair of maxes along.

You can wear Rexo in the Empire buggies and they arent tech plant anymore either. I find this the solution to the Rexo transport problem

Of course, considering that the above is only 21 out of 23 possible cert points, you can even add Adv Med or AA MAX. But here's the coolest, while maybe not the best, (g)runt build of them all:

Yeah and then you can spend the remaining 2 on whatever you like. No available 2 point certs are grunt centric tho, so its just kinda a generic whatever you like thing

im not into all out assault, but id like to know what they plan to do to the rexo? make it absorb more dmg or faster or all of the above?

It will absorb 10 points of armor instead of 8 points per bullet
It will have 50 points more armor for a total of 200

Considering the JH shoots out 16 'bullets' per second, that adds up fast.

JH will still be able to kill a ReExo in 3 shots, but only at 100% accuracy :)

IMO the lightning is a POS. It has low armor, and it's only advantage is that it has a strong cannon (75 mm) where people can bomb and use it for suppressing fire. The only reason people use it is because they don't want to drive the empire tank because they won't get any kills :/. The driver, that is.

And if you want something better than the harasser (well technically everything is better than the harasser) which you can drive with rexo, then get the heavy assault buggy (or whatever it's called). Lets you drive 2 useful things, skyguard and empire specific buggy.

Ehhh, the lightning is not a POS if you know how to use it...It can take nearly any vehicle out but a tank...even though ive killed a few 1/2 dead ones with it already.

I have eng and a lightning on my VS char and i get TONS of kills and stay in the battle a pretty long time. Plus you don't have to rely on always needing a gunner.
