While I have been playing for a while, I've never been into the whole TS/Ventrillo thing: it always seemed like an expensive hassle with little payoof. But I have begun to find myself wishing I had a much greater tactical control level, and thus my interest has been renewed. Before I get anything, I have a few questions:

#1: Which version of TS should I download?
#2: Are there any particularly good headphones out there?
#3: How do you get onto a TS server?

1. TS2 windows client
2. Get a plantronics, i've had a few, they've all worked well.
3. bring up the connection menu and choose quick connect, then just put in the server adress and a nickname, simple as can be.

Yeah voice chat is a must have for outfit and the in-game voice chat sucks.

Voice is essential.

TS2 gives you options over to create command chat channels; very handy for squad and platoon comms.

TS makes your outfit so much more fun to play than it is typing.

I play AA:SF and have been in a clan for a year. nothing more fun then a burping contest ;)

yeah TS rox ur sox. its essential for CoD and really really useful for PS.
