View Full Version : Idea for a CE ability

Was reading through that car bomb post, and was thinking to myself how it was a good bit tasteless. (No offense meant to the original poster) But it managed to set off a train of thought that ended with the idea of a "sabotage" ability for CE's. It'd be the equivalent of C4, you know, lengthy to setup, big explosion, and remotely triggered if need be. The sabotage feature could be used on vehicles and turrets only if they were unoccupied.

I know the idea will never be developed, just thought it was a neat one. *Dons flame retardant apparel* Discuss.

thing is any CR5 can do that. takes some time, big explosion, remote trigger.

Yeah, but what I'm thinking is more along the lines of "Hey look, the driver just got out of his tank. I'm gonna cloak and go setup my C4." Then you laugh as it drives away and explodes.

I would be happy if they would just add a full line of Mines. Just like how you can choose Frag, Plasma, and Jammer for your Thumper/Punisher, CEs should also be able to lay Plasma, and Jammer mines

Except they could just make it where jammer mines dont set off boomers.

Now why the hell would they do that? It defeats the fricking purpose of being a jammer.

no, the purpose of a jammer mine would be to disable vehicles and drop troopers implants creating a more strategic use of CE

Or they could just make it so they couldn't be deployed right next to each other.
