I disable LFG the second I realize it's on, which is normally before I leave sanctuary. I'm not currently part of an outfit, because I'm not that impressed with any of them so far. I will work in a squad, but I hate being invited to one without receiving a tell first. I don't know who these clowns are, why the heck should I join them?

I received about 5 squad invites and 3 outfit invites yesterday, and not one person said a word to me. One of these invites got me killed. Can't we have some way of disabling this crap? I don't want to receive invites unless I have some clue about who the person is. It interferes with gameplay quite a bit. Isn't there anything that can be done? If not, I may just have to kill every random inviter I see.

NC Markov, there is an outfit called the 666th Special Ops "Devil Dogs". Really good outfit with coordination and uses TS.

I like to play solo about half the time I play. And yes it would be nice if you didn't have to click the no box so many times per session. Hell I even got tk'd once for turning down an outfit invite. A mandatory tell first would be a pleasant change.

I just wish for the love of all that is holy, that Sony would get rid of the stinking popups for quitting and recalling

30, 20, 10, 5 - ARRRRRRGGGGGGG

Quitting and recalling need to be just like the LLU and Module timers :p

dont know if youre NC, TR, or VS (never saw ya on the battlefeild) but there is a VS outfit on Markov (origionaly Johari) called UltraViolence. Its a really good outfit, but is coming out of a major depression due to the inactivity of the Officers. Anywhoo, these people will not (or shouldnt) just send an invite without asking, if they do, contact UV at [email protected]

good advice is not to post an e-mail on a message board ;)

This is a legitimate gripe, and I'm getting recruited? The shamelessness of most outfit's recruiting policies is one of the main reasons I've stayed out of them. Any outfit that globals for members is automatically off my list. If you're that exclusive, I probably don't want to be there.

Anyhoo, yes, all popups are annoying, including outfit, squad, and recall timers. I don't like clicking ok 4 times just to recall or IA from enemy territory. I don't like having to tell every schmo and their dog that "No, I don't want to be a memebr of your squad, your outfit, or anything that you have to do with because you're incapable of asking someone you know."

I got tired of most squads after several instances of massive stupidity took my life. Me and two friendlies moving toward a tower, one enemy infantry pops out. I go to crouching position and begin firing(NOT MOVING!) and die from friendly fire in the back. Sometimes this would happen and the other two would duck for cover.

Anyway, popups deserve death!

This is how I deal with spammers. When I get invite for a squad, I say yes. Then just flat out ignore them. I get a kick when they say were all headed to <insert continent> and I had planned to go somewhere else...and do. Eventually I just get kicked out and the process repeats itself. But instead of getting spammed every other minute, its usually just once after a long while. Sometimes they just ignore me and let me do my own thing and I never get spammed again for the entire time.

lol. i had one incident where i had teamed up with this guy. he was a complete newbie, but i didn't mind. we'd take turns driving and other person gunning. that is fun imo. well a few days later he wanted me to squad w/him and i said no. he kept spamming me and inviting me over and over and over. know what i did? i freaking put him on ignore list. worked well. too bad he was in my outfit. a few days later i saw him jumping up and down in front of me. so i took him off ignore and told him whats up. he apologized and hasn't spammed me since. ;)
