New Char/Old Names

I haven't seen anybody discuss this (least of all the devs) but anybody who created a character after the name wipe is having big issues if the name they chose was one of the 'wiped'. You can't populate your friends list, and you can't actually send tells. I'm coordinating with a friend to get on at approximately the same time and squad up (that portion works) so that we can use the squad channel just to speak normally. I'm fairly certain that you can't receive tells either, but can't be sure of that.

They are looking into the problem with not sending/receiving tells. Says so in the Weekly Activities Spork posted...ummm....last week? Before they moved people and forgot that they had a game to support. ;) Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Anyone know whatever happened to the /renamenew command? Thought they were gonna let us do a rename if we already dropped the -J once our handle cleared.
