I started with the name xredice, it just kind of evolved after years of gaming. Then the "l33t" generation started to spawn outwards into all areas of the unternet and gaming, and I was just left with r3d.
That was a few years ago, I've just stuck with it.

Mine's strange. I used to be Crazypsyduck for a few years, then for a bit I was Aquablueduck, then it finally became Mr. Duck. I stuck with that for a few years, until I was banned on the forums I used it. I had tried to reconcile with an enemy site to stop the flame war, but our owner was a dick. I was a senior mod, the highest rank possible on a 2000 member board, I was a forum god, there were only two people higher ranked than me, I had the rank with which to try and make official diplomacy. He didn't want me trying to save everyone in the game from a lot of shit between our two sites, and banned me.

I signed on for another game at some point, I think it may have been PS. I was looking for a name, and being the 1337 |-|/-\><><()4 that I am, I made this name. It was just a joke name, kinda like saying LOL in game to test out a new font or something to see how it looks, just something to use space.

When I started College (Rutgers U.) I joined the marching band. I had this Jacket for Tide Race Team(yes the detergent), at the time Ricky Rudd (my fav driver) was driving the Tide car. I walked in for recruitment day in april my senior year in HS and some older tuba player saw me, I was going to play tuba, and said "TIDE" and that stuck.

Now most of the time online games and other site logins require 6 or more letters. Tide is only 4. So for a while I went with RUTide (Rutgers U. Tide).

I played Metal Gear since NES. The most recent one with solid and liquid snake was awesome.

Well since im not creative at all. When i first signed up for PSU i thought damn i cant use my other names (FFfanatic605-final fantasy fanatic or MrHealit-my AO name) so i thought hmmmm im a pyro and im a man so i made that. But, when i got into beta it was already taken so my friend had introduced me into one of my favorite songs of all time: No Surrender by Bonez Thugz N Harmony.

When Tribes 2 first came out (use the release date to work out how long I've had the nick, I forget when exactly) I was getting kind of irritated with my amazingly unoriginal nickname of "Digi". I came up with the name "Thrik" after a brief bit of thought and as far as I know it is totally original.

It's based on the word "freak" although most people tend to pronounce it "frick" so it's pretty much turned into that. Yarr.

My name comes from two major places. One of which I totaly forgot about till a few weeks ago. The first is my favorite hand gun which I own a replica of. The Colt SAA Peacemaker revolver. The second source was from one of my favorite designed aircraft. The B36 Peacemaker - a nuclear deterent bomber designed to destroy the heart of Russia.

Originally i made it because my first name starts with a Z and i generally try to make names using Z cause it sounds interesting, and i was born in California then I added the us to it for USA the country of my birth

Zeus=greek God Of Thunder (my favorite is Thor the Nordic god of thunder but i tryed to use that a few times but it is very unoriginal most of the time)
Cali= Indian Goddes of Evil i think i forget what the person told me (so by accident my name also is Yin Yang aspect to it)

I never had a nickname, because I never played games until I met Martyr. I used to call HIM "Trigger", because of his soft spot for weaponry. One day the time came for me to register with the forums for our school's newspaper (which Martyr ran), and I was having a tough time finding a name that wouldn't make me look like a complete tool (I was before that registered as "ECAP Hag" - ECAP = "Pace" (my university) spelled backwards, and "Hag" because all of my friends are gay men.) Finding this unacceptable, Martyr talked amongst his friends who decided that I should be called "TriggerHappy", because I was in love with Trigger (my nickname for Martyr), so my AIM name is TriggerHappy but that of course was taken in PS so I am simply Triggar.
