I really enjoyed PS before I couldn't play anymore and I was just wondering about Halo, not Halo 2. Is it a good game and if so plz tell me what it's like, I trust all of you'r opinions thats why I asked this here. Also is the multiplayer population good or bad?

You mean Combat Evolved (PC game)? Got it for birthday, and it's EVEN 1337ER THAN I AM. Seriously, great game if you haven't played for XBox, I assume you haven't. I haven't either, so there you go.

I bought Halo a few weeks ago, and am currently playing through the single player campaign. I havn't tried the Halo multiplayer yet, but I hear that it's not so great. That's why I have Planetside. :)

Halo is the shit man , i havent played the PC version yet , but xbox is the koolest
I love pwning my friends with the l337 rocket launcher , just aim by their feet and their so toast :D
I might get it for PC on my birthday in may , so be looking out for an xmodum :), the single player play is sweet to , it gets really weird when its 3 races verses 1 (and the one's you) watch out for the little covanant at the few last lvls , their eveil mean when u get to the 2 last lvls

If you have it on xbox I wouldn't suggest getting it on PC. I have it on le box and I loved and love it. And I got the PC version from a friend, and played for a week or two. It's not nearly as good as it is on the x. Maybe it's just me, or the fact that I love consoles and playing on them, rather than PC.
Anyways, if you don't have it on xbox get it for PC, you're missing out.

Don't get it. It is not worth it. It was a good game for its time but is outdated now. I got about half way through toe single player campaign on the PC version, got bored, bought CoD, and never looked back.

Pretty much, people who didn't like Halo were either 1) Not FPS fans, or 2) Can't stand anything mainstream, period.

I am an FPS fan, and I have no problem with mainstream stuff. Still hate Halo.

Not to be an ass or anything, but what about it did you dislike?

It was two repetitive. For one, the level design is completely cut and paste. Killing swarms of identical aliens in identical rooms just didn't appeal to me.

Ah well, I can respect that. Then again, I've NEVER played an FPS that doesn't have those problems... but oh well. Halo parties rock though.

Call of Duty, Planetside, and BF1942 don't have that problem, two name a few.

Actually, I thought BF1942 levels were way too similar. Never played Call of Duty. And I won't disagree with you about PlanetSide =P

I agree with you on this 100%. For the multiplayer aspect I hated it because everyone and their mother got into a vehicle and just started running you over. Either that or they'd just get the rocket launcher and hope for splash damage to kill you. I also didn't like how the Assault "Rifle" wasn't very much like a rifle. IMO, it was more like a buffed up P90 with a compass and an indicator for how much ammo is in the clip. I seriously think buying this game is a waste of time and money.
