Lol, I had that very sword he broke. I found it on ebay for 20 bucks new. It was a piece of crap just like that video showed. But the ones on this site are higher quality. There is a store in my mall that carries the same swords on fastknife for 6 times the price and they look like they are high quality in the displays.

only if you really know what to look for in a blade and tang. i personally put very, very little faith in modern american/western swordcraft. i suppose it doesn't matter, though, if you just intend to bolt it to your wall.

haha, i doubt he died: the mass of half that blade is probably less than 200g and the direction of force applied was mostly angular (not directly at the poor guy, but more towards the floor), so i'd say he'd end up with an aggrivated but light stab wound, 1.5cm at its deepest including his polo shirt, and probably 3-4cm long: not enough to damage organs.
