HOLLAND, Mich. (AP) -- Tacking Jr. or II onto a boy's name is too common, a new father decided, so the self-described engineering geek took a software approach to naming his newborn son.
Jon Blake Cusack talked his wife, Jamie, into naming their son Jon Blake Cusack 2.0.

I dont think that works cause its not quite the same thing as an upgrade. Its more like software integration. :ugh: He should combine his and his wifes names and make it sound like a new software company or flagship application. ;)
Edit: Jon+Jamie=Jonie and whatever you could do with there last names. Or just call him server firmware 2004!

Wow! That is SO INTERESTING! I'll have to go there sometime, maybe on my way up to the UP, from my little city here in DEARBORN.

but wouldn't that mean that trimesters in pregnancy == release candidates (eg RC1, RC2, RC3) and dating & marriage would be the planning, alpha, and beta testing stages?

the name itself makes it sound very... dull. i'm not sure why. i guess that a city named after a whole european country just can't live up to its namesake; it's like naming some cheesy crosman bb gun "vulcan"
