I think it is supposed to have extra minerals and electrolytes and what not. Kinda like gator-aide light or something. Probably just a marketing ploy, like that comercial I saw that tried to market milk as a sports drink. :ugh: Just immagine comming off a feild/court/whatever hot and sweaty and needing something to quench your thirst, what do you reach for? MILK! *vomit*

Next thing you know they will market egg nog as a sprts drink... wait a minute... I just got way off topic...

That's almost as stupid as something that claims to be 94% fat free or whatever. What's that supposed to mean? That 6% of it is fat? I guess it just makes things sound better. I think from now on I'll call stupid people 76% intelligence free. If I ever see a stick of butter marked X% fat free, I will lose all will to live.

Uncarbonated "enchanced" waters always taste like shiiiit.

hey not that "fittness" water is pretty damn tasty. like he said its like gatorade lite.. not to bad. and atleast your getting SOMETHING when you shell out money for H20...

I think onemanarmy, takes shit WAYYYY too serious. I was being overtly sarcastic and over the top with my "complaining". The humor, the joke, was the title: "fitness water", as if regular water didn't meet that criteria.

Think about it without that carrot shoved up your ass and you MIGHT just get the joke.

you forgot about heavy water!

MrVicchio

Heavy water is used in the production of Hydrogen or ThermoNuclear weapons because it has high concentrations of H3.

Oh you were joking, silly me hehe I want powered water, ya know, get a pcket, add water and you got a glass full!

Actually heavy water is just one of hydrogens isotopes (Deuterium) with oxygen. Deuterium has an extra neutron in the nucleus which esentially doubles its mass meaning that the compound weights approximately 20 grams per mol instead of 18 grams per mole like normal water, hence heavy water. D2O instead of H2O (is there any way to do subscripts on this board?).

Never drink water in a bottle, I got my crane and it's tasty!

nice one i had to stop and reread that twice before i understood again, i miss intelligent conversation :(
Did You write that with a chemistry book next to you Or are you a Chemistry major or Taking a Class in Chemistry currently/recently?

---BTW I just remember what propel was i used to drink it back in the US it is flavored water basically GATORADE with a higher water concentration in it.
Very good water but it cost like 2-3$ a bottle, nice bottle though

Bottled water...bah The place I used to work, we would take the bottle from the water cooler and just fill it up in the shop sink...good stuff.

I like the taste of Propel, i'd buy it over regular bottled water, as it just doesn't taste like water should(everyone should go to a lake in the mountians and pump some water out of a lake with a backpacking filter, thats what water should taste like), all regular bottled water is just tap water thats been ran though a filter anyway.

Call me a cheap, but I went to Henry's MarketPlace (http://www.wildoats.com/app/cda/oat_cda.html?pt=StoreDetails&storeId=163) a few days ago and they had, I kid you not, a case of bottled water for something like $34.99 or $38.99 for a CASE! I couldn't believe it! I'll have to find out the brand, but I had never heard of it before....

Actually I have a degree in chemistry and am currently working on my Ph. D. We use deuterated solvents in lab and we have recently discussed using what's know as the Kenetic Isotope Effects (KIE) to probe reaction mechanisms in a class I'm in so I've dealt with deuterium a bit lately.

NICEeeeeeeee Thanks for the remeberance, forgot how much fun chemistry was/is.
