Before reading this post please take into consideration I am not an idiot, and I am not angry because I got owned.
I was playing on Hossin yesterday with dogtag. We were Magriding like we like to do when we play togeather. I was driving, he was gunning. We were working around the Acan area when a couple Vanguards and a Skyguard forced us to retreat. We retreated in the northeast direction and dogtag managed to pick off the skyguard. We were able to outrun the Vanguard (the second Vanguard didn't give chase) going over the water and using our significant speed advantage. We stopped to repair a half an SOI outside of Chac and seconds after hopping back into the tank the Vanguard that had been chasing us apparently hadn't given up, and begun firing on us. I knew there was no way to run this time so we went head on, firing both cannons. We died. Nothing strange here, one expects that to happen going head to head with a Vanguard.
We respawn at Chac and grab another Magrider. The same Vanguard is now outside engaging the wall turrets. Two wall turrets are hitting it and I figure this combined with both cannons on the Magrider should have no problem destroying it. We engage it at near point-blank, sustaining fire on it for well over a minute. The entire time, the tank continues firing on the turrets. Once they die, it begins shooting us, and kills us.
It becomes apparent that this tank is not being damaged... by anything. The tank continues to roam Chac's courtyard and eventually a pair of reavers engage it. They rocket spam it and it doesn't even shoot back. The Vanguard just drives around, occassionally firing a bit at the reavers. After a long while it kills both reavers. I'm not sure where the Vanguard went after that however it was very apparent the four of us had witnessed some kind of exploit. Using advance targeting, we unveiled the name of the driver and appealed him along with the gunner, along with an explaination of what happened.
Anyway, I'm posting this so that people will be on the lookout for this exploit/cheat. Some exploits are not a big deal to me, like the reload exploit or the flickering implant exploit (both of which are fixed now at least), but when you render yourself entirely invulnerable, that's going too far.
