First off I'll give my PC specs.

1.8 GHrz Pentium 4
640 MB RD Ram PC 800
Radeon 9600 128 OCed to 384/270

Ok, here is my general problem: I have major studdering issues and all my graphics are on the extreem low's and it seems as I go down, i get less studder but as soon as I start getting into the slightly big battles, all I get is warping and such and it didn't used to be this way. I have been dealing with this for more than 4 months and the FPS just seems to get worse and worse as time goes on. I just want to know where I can get all the latest drivers for all of my equipment, I need to kno if I should use the ATi drivers, the Omega's or the DNA's. I currently use the Omega's and the overclocker that came with it which is 3d Prof, I really like this overclocker but if there is a better one out there, i will switch. And I am not able to overclock my CPU at all i'm pretty sure.

I just want some help so the stuttering stops so I can accually kill somebody effectively.

I use the stock ATI's and have no problems with them, and I tried omegas and saw no difference. RagingGerbil raves about omegas though so, I guess its preference.

www.ati.com is where you get the latest ati drivers.
www.omegacorner.com is where you get the omegas.

Edit: Powerstrip is a good overclocking utility.

What about Drivers and patchs for my PC's specs and stuff or anything that gets this shit to go away, come on, my PC is really good and i still get choppy graphics when the graphics are so bad, i can't see ppl's names clearly.

Ehhh, not sure how much drivers will help you with this...

Even so, whats your mobo? You might wanna see if there are new drivers out for that too.

I perfer Riva tuner for OCing because its free(not like Powerstrip that give you a startup message that keep gettin longer and longer unless you buy the whoel version)
though i use detonator coolbits, that Just unlocking the OPcing menu in the driver itself and not a program.

realy an OCer is an OCer nothing about it

you have an old P4 that uses Rambus that wer your problem is

Powerstrips startup doesn't get longer, it stays at 5 seconds.

No, I assure you it doesn't. I've had mine for over a year. Still at 5 seconds on startup. Guess you got the broken version eh?

Eh, I would classify a version of software that limits performance/use, broken...wouldn't you?

Thats the way the tech forum works if we don't know how to fix it, we spam.

its part of the untyped rules like the forbidden 4 letter word: ****

if you guess it i'll give you a cookie
