I know this is a n00b question, but how do you find your PC specs? I remeber a costomer service rep walking me through it when I called in about a game a while ago. I just can't remember how to do it now.

For CPU/RAM, click start>right click on my computer>properties it should say stuff about how much RAM you have and the clock speed on your CPU.
For Video Card, click start>run> type "dxdiag" and you should display with your Drivers Version, Card Maker, version of direct x, what kinda graphics card you have and how much video ram is on the card

For anything CPU related most of the whizes use CPU-Z.

dxdiag, thank you! I knew it sounded something like that. I had found the processor speed / ram info on the systems tab. Dxdiag was what I was missing.

dxdiag tells u most of the stuff about your system... I keep a record of everything tho, cause more often then not my sister finds a way to break the damn thing and we can't log onto it...

EDIT: just dled CPU-Z thats nice too...

yeah i would figure out what you have and memorize it, if you ever build your own though i garonty(sp) that you never forget them. I could list off almost everything about my computer, how much it cost, who made it, and most of the driver versions.
