Thank the fine Berkshire Brewing Company Steel Rail Ale for this fine post.
What's your favorite metal? I'll list as many as I can.
For the record, I like silver for its lunar connection, titanium and tungsten for their names.

I just got a Fossil Titanium watch for my Bday from my GF. Titanium men's watches are awesoem b/c they are soooooo light. This thing is about half the weight of my coworkers steel watch that is the same size... also titanium is strong and stands up to a good beating and won't rust or tarnish.

Mercury is such a beautiful metal. I should have included it. What other metal looks like liquid silver and produces such a boon to science and a genuine flavor enhancer to sushi?
Beer made me say it.

Gold, without it, what would we use for the contacts in our computers? Generally nonreactive and a pretty good conductor.

Tungsten, because it's nearly as heavy as gold and lead but a hell of a lot cheaper than gold and much more durable than both.

I like platinum because it is tough enough to take a beating (against deathscythes G-unit loving head?? j/k)...and still can be redemed for my bail money
