Weird issues lately

I've been seeing some really weird stuff the last few days. I don't know what it's all about but here are a few of the things that have been happening:

1) Select respawn location and spawn elsewhere. No reason not to have spawned where I selected
2) Insta-gig. Running around in a max, get hit by a pheonix, so down to 400 some-odd armor. Another pheonix hits me and I die.
3) Random grief. Standing in the middle of a base, running back to my vehicle and suddenly get grief. No, I'm not a CE.

Anyone else experiencing these issues?

I've noticed sum things since the patch today!
YAY for Vanu! lancer and lasher combo no need for maxes anymore! So max buff needed.
- Server Laggggggggggggggggggggggggg! People just appear anywhere!
-i went over a bump in my ams and blew up :oS noone around!
- chat bug where i have to scroll bk down to see what ppl hav sed
- map issue where u dont get th elevels showing up!

I know all these probally existed b4 hand but they havnt been fixed!

I've seen the same issues, so you're not alone. I agree with the assessments here though...it may not be "lag" so much as the mysterious SOE "server delay". When your stats are fine, but everything still sucks. Anyone else run it to that one a frequent basis? Again, FPS and ping are fine, but everything is slow.

Yeh my fps is 200-230 and my ping is 30 so their fine! Its just planetside probally has a shit engine! I say Use the hl2 engine! lol
they sed it runs on liek a 256mb ram pentium 3 800mhz, geforce 2 etc

i think you will get much more lag if PS had the HL2 Engine considering the monster-like specs it needs....

I'm completely convinced that this is caused by excessive server side lag. At any given time I have stats all easily in the green range, and things still suck. If it's not me... then... *gasp* it's them!

Today I lost all my char stats, no kills, no base hacks, no doors breached, all reset to zero.
