We go in trimesters here. We wont get ours for another like 4 weeks, maybe more. I take it you are in 10th grade? I'm in 10th. I doubled up on math and am taking 3 majors this semester. And of course, nothing like 1 and 1/2 hours of trig to get your day started...

my semester grades were 4 B's 3 C's and 1 D. Got the D in french, just barely got it too. Had like a 59.4 and the teacher rounded it up. Je n'aime pas francais.

I had like a C+ in Science, A- in Algebra, A in Language Arts (English for you plebian types), A in History, and A+ in Spanish. Go me!

Ah, I'm taking World History next year for gr.11, only because I'm sure as hell not taking any other sciences or technologies. Can't believe you guys go by letter gradings...we ditched that in grade 6, and I'm glad.

I gave up on caring about school, just go there for the people.

Multi-ethnic studies (only class I have with this girl I like, that is this class's ONLY redeeming factor)-A
Band-A, not sure how you could manage to not get an A, it's really goddamn easy.
American Studies-A, this here is a class I kick some serious ass in.
English-I somehow scrape an A in this. I suck at all of the terminology, but I get by just fine. It's crazy.

Angel, I have no great love for going to school, but I believe with good reason that a good education is the only way to have both a successful career and a greater enjoyment in life. How many lawyers and doctors do you meet who haven't gone to college and gotten atleast OK grades?

I didn't say that an education isn't important, because it is. But I don't give a fuck about school. My grades are average, about low 70 average, and could be a lot, a lot higher if I tried, did my homework, handed in assignments/on time. I don't do this because I'm trying to be cool, I just don't like doing it. Period.

Even if I did get straight 90's, there is no way in hell anyone can persuade me to become a doctor / dentist, or anything boring like that. I am going to do something that I like, and I like working with my hands, or doing something interesting to me, not sitting on my ass (staring at a computer, etc).

Two types of smarts: (as I call them) smart smart, and book smart. Book smart is self-explanatory, but smart smart is just naturally smart. I have met many people who have good grades, and have no common sense, and vice versa too.

It's ok X, you just don't care about school. Salute you.

I'm a fairly smart guy naturally, but I really don't give much of a fuck about school. I don't enjoy it, I don't study, but I get good grades because of my neurochemical predisposition to the absorbtion of knowledge. In other words, I'm blessed by God with good grades without trying.

edit* my grade average was 59.4% total, I only failed english I got 36% first and second term(my school isn't semestered). And I have no summerschool option, so im hoping I can pull an 80% off this term so I can keep my spare next year

Programing in Java advanced: A or B if its a b its becasue my teacher never teached she just make us read a pakcet and do a project, and it has to be perfectly done to her specifications, that she doen't tell us, of you get a bad grade on that lab.

Econ 1: B mostly because i keep forgetting to do current events every friday

German 2: C i'm bad at german i know the grammer stuff right but can't ever remamber what the words mean.

Chem 1: high B or A, probably my favorite class of the day, i don't know why

Every one i know says i should be doing better, but i don't have the motivation to do homework for 5 hours a night anymore, so my grades slipped a bit.
