Advertise in the paper. That's what Jello Biafra did. Turned out one of the greatest bands ever.

Who?

Octavian

Jello Biafra? If we haven't heard of them, then they obviously weren't popular.

Would have been mayor of San Fransisco years back-slash-lead singer of the Dead Kennedys, that's who!

The Dead Kennedys are a punk band. They started with an advertisement in the paper. They kick ass. End of story.

why?

oh and btw, added an acoustic version of our first song. keep in mind if i screw on with my bass, it's because i have about 15 paper towels wrapped around it to mute the sound. It kind of threw me off a bit.

the song sounds serisously badass with electricity and wooden sticks. plus the singer was rapping...damnit. gotta beat some sense into him.

allright for take one. about the 3rd time we'd played it all together, except it was first time with the lyrics, so it was kind of experimental.

Sounds really good. Tell me if you get a better recording/beat some sense into your vocalist :p

Nice set you got BTW

PS My friend is plays bass fairly well(although mostly stand up), too bad we live down here in SoCAL and you live up north

Try it again with the guitar turned up or something, I can unfortunately barely hear it over the drumming :(

Onizuka
2004-02-25, 10:36 AM
My thoughts on all my senses: Was good, but the drums just kind of overpowered everything...i know its different in the recording but thats what i heard. Plus, I could make out very few words....and I couldn't hear the bass at all...(Im being honest). This could be because I can't hear out of my right ear because of this sickness Im going through, but still.

Good work though

Smaug

Correct me if I'm wrong but they didn't have a bass player at the time of that recording.

Neon Apocalypse
2004-02-25, 07:06 PM
i agree with oni, the drums overpower everything, it seems as if 1024 is running the whole show

the lyrics can definitley use some work, i can barely hear the lyrics, and honestly, they arent that good

the little guitar tune is good, but i think you guys need more guitar

the drums are good, i like them

just some constructive criticism
