Ill be getting a new mouse cause ive heard good things about the mx500 series for gaming. Best Buy is getting a new model on tuesday
http://www.logitech.com/lang/images/0/3452.jpg Its got a few more features than the mx500 (that one is a mx510) but its the same form factor as the mx500. Is this a good mouse? I know Rbstr has one is it good?

I love my MX500, i jsut can't get 3 of the buttons to work in PS, though 4 + the mouse weel do so it doen't matter.
(damn them for realeasing a new one righ tafter i get mine!)
EDIT: looking at it on the Logitech website, its the smae thing with a cool holo finish and perhpas an extra button, though i can't tell
EDIT2: Nope no extra button though it does have thenth of an extra Megapixle of resolution

Anyone got anything to say about the 900 bluetooth?

Why waste the money on a wireless, the Mx500, 700, and 900 are identical except two are wireless. And one costs 30-40 bucks less.
Thogu if you have other bluetooth things the mx900 could be a decent choise becasue it also acts as a bluetooh hub thing

I like wireless. I'd take wireless over wired anyday, as long as its not a piece of shit. No lag time + wireless = goodgood.
The only wireless that sux are the ones with lag time between movement and the actual recieving. But I don't think the bluetooth would do that...
I currently have a wireless optical microsoft mouse with wheel, but I like the extra buttons on the bluetooth.

I'd just get the 700 because its the same mouse except its not a bluetooth(no lag i know that as a fact) and its 20 bucks cheaper 900 = $90, 700 = $700, 500 = $50

I noticed that. What exactly is the difference between the two?

the only difference are the modes of geting the info to the computer(and very slight case difference not noticable)
Bluetooth for the 900, RF for the 700, USB cable for the 500
Oh yeah range the 900 can be used from up to 30 feet away(700 is less) how you would see the screen form that far i could not say.

Meh, the mouse I have now will serve me well enough for a while. I'll worry about this when I'm getting a new one. I'd probably go for the bluetooth, just because I have to have the best of everything.

Yea, I've got an MX700; 's a very nice mouse, not had much trouble with it, except it has pretty poor response to small movement. Oooh, and Rbstr, yknow you were saying you had trouble with the extra buttons? Did you install the Logitech software on the CD? Cos when I did that I found it made the buttons unusable and replaced them with useless features. I've currently got em set to implant toggles in PS :>
