I have it on good authority that the whole thing was a staged event. If you watch it again, it seems so fake - all the way down to the anouncer "Well, thanks for participating in the Chevy Chase Bank Hot and Cold contest... looks like it ran just a little bit cold this time". Totally fake. Nothing like free publicity for Chevy Chase bank and the Washington Wizards as this is played over and over nationally.
