Couple questions about Day/Night/Environment.
1. Are Day and Night equal lengths, how long?
2. Will there be Night Vision/IR?
3. Are there weather changes?
4. Will there be a "in game" clock that tells us what time it is on PlanetSide? (Such as 6pm, sunset coming soon).
1. Dunno
2. Doubt it
3. Maybe, never read about it.
4. Dunno would be intresting.

I'd immagine daytime would be longer than night; most mmo's are like this. As for the weather I think I recall a dev saying they were not going to release any specific details about it and the effects on players till around release.
Sounds great planning an assault during a foggy night, or having rain affect ground vehicles traction....Let's hope they at least have some effect.

for them to not include weather and time of day effects would be a completely mind blowing move of stupidity ,so Im pretty sure there will be something because in a few of screen shots you can see a screen taken at dusk and Im sure ive seen 1 with rain but I could be wrong :D
I would assume vision implants would act as night vision? They should, anyways. If theres no NOV that would be pretty annoying. It would be like in WWIIOL where at night you literally couldnt see anything.

howabout a flashlight? i mean it only gives your posistion away so a sniper can make you a head shorter.
you can bet there will be an implant, they work to hard on this to leave something that big out, the war would come to a halt at night if that was true.

It doesn't seem like it is going to get pitch black in PS. I am betting the screen that Hamma linked is as dark as it gets.

Exactly - it doesent get pitch black. That screen that afex linked is nearly full darkness.

It wouldn't be very realistic to have day be longer than night. Does the world spin faster when it's nighttime?

Day and night can be different lengths if the world spins at an angle, and you aren't on the equator. Ask some Alaskans about the length of their days vs nights in the summer vs the winter sometime (hint they are very, very, very different). All brought to you by your friends the rotating tilt of the earth and latitude on the globe. :D
