I was reading the review, and I noticed the guy wrote "turrent." WTF! Is is so goddamn hard to spell "turret?" I mean, the 'n' key isn't even NEAR the letters used in turret.
BTW, POP-UP HELL!!

Why do so many retarded people write "turrent"?
Every time I play PS, broadcast chat - Defend the base! Get in the turrents!

I know. I mean, do people's fingers magically fly to the N key or something? And what's even worse, is people mispelling "turrents.'

Both of the games were ahead of their time. I can only imagine how pimp a System Shock 3 would be were it made today. Personally, I think SS2 was a better game than Halflife (as far as the single player goes) and the co-op patch gives the game a ton of replay value.

Sad indeed. They were thinking about a squad-based strategy for SS3, too.

I'm to tightly wound for this kinda game, I can tell be the atmosphere that something is going to jump out at me, and the more I try to prepare for something the more it gets me when it does. Very good game though.

Uhmm... I just downloaded the beta on gamespot, but it crashes after it finishes loading the level. Why is that? Is my comp just too 1337 for it?

Seriously, this is bugged to hell, too. What happens is I go to load a new game, it does the loading sequence just fine, then it goes black for like 2 seconds and plays a chime, and my computer is frozen.

Duck ^^
You said you downloaded a beta off of gamespot. That would probably be the problem, considering the game needs to be patched before it will even run on winXP or 2000 systems (The one off underdogs is already patched).

I did download it off underdogs, and I have Win98. It just won't work.

Never heard of that problem, Duck. I've got it installed atm and have been playing it. It never ceases to amaze me that even though I knwo wheere every enemy is in the game I still get freadked out playing this game.
The updated skins/textures thing doesn't seem to work for me though. If I put it in, all the AI models dissappear.
