Meh 895 is my highest and i got tired of it lol. The sucky thing is the mines never seem to be in the right place for me. They are placed randomly, so there is no actual "perfect" swing in the game.

Nerf the land mines. I belive their blast is too powerful (in comparison to the mace swing) and people rely just on the land mines to achieve distance.
