VR Room Update

We all know that there are two parts to the VR room, one being the �infantry VR room� which lets us use common pool and empire specific hand held weaponry and MAX�es agents stationary targets out in a field. Then in the other section of VR being the �vehicle VR room� which, let�s us test vehicles out by driving/flying around. I think an addition of a firing rage in that area would be a wise thing. With that addition we would be able to test out the armaments agents stationary vehicles and stationary infantry like seen in the �infantry VR room�.

What do you think about this idea?

I agree, I want to learn to fly with a reaver in VR but no targets, it kind of sucks.

Sounds good, but maybe as another addition, something like a MILES/Laser Tag room? So that the newbies could get a feel for what it's like fighting an actual player before they go out with their AMP on non AP shooting at that AI MAX.

Lazer Tag would be frigging awesome. The only problem is that the CR5's might spend alltheir time there instead of leading the troops :D :lol: .

I would like to see more vehicles in the VR shooting range. I would like to see how many Deci/Phoenix/Lancer/Stryker rounds it would take to kill a vanguard, magrider, marauder, etc.

Ok new idea why not just combine them all into one VR section therefore you get to test out the handheld weapons on the stationary vehicles and you would also be able to test out the vehicles armaments on the stationary infantry. Bah I don�t know why I did not think of this before :)

I would think that just making the VR enemies mobile and removing the barrier at the Infantry VR station would better the ability to test out weapon efficiency etc. I was wondering why they didnt offer any targets in the Vehicle VR station :mad:

Yeah i would like to test weapons and vehicles against vehicles. It would also be nice to have dogfight training, like have a VR mosquito that you have to shoot down, or a tank you have to fight. If possible even a soldier.

i wanna see moving tagets put into vr training, mainly in inf training part. because in battle in PS the nme hardly ever sits still un less they lag out and cant move

The devs said they wouldn't code AI.

Although, we could get similar to this by making a zone in which players can shoot each other. Just take the vehicle training map and disable friendly fire.

Ive always supported that thought about the VR, but Incompetent is right about this topic. Maybe the devs will do something like Raven is proposing

I like the whole miles thing. I thing an addition of a noob training center ( except people won't be shot by a lasher if your a TR , A cycler if your a NC, etc...) would be cool and it could be used as a kind of tourny room for clans on their (if any) off time. Obviosly no points should be awarded.....
