Dhark, if hes in California hes at constant risk for enough of a shock to cause problems. So, that was more or less a cause for a question, or concern.

You dont exactly talk about Earthquakes much anywhere near the East coast or the midwest.

It looks like a carrying handle, can't quite tell though. My PC is just the generic white cheap case, I want to get one of those transparent acrylic ones

martyr
2004-03-01, 01:35 PM
^the acrylic ones look neat in the store, but they scratch _very_ easily and don't protect from EMR or static

Didn't you say you were poor on IRC?

AztecWarrior

I have a generic aluminum tower. However, it is about three feet tall, towering over the weaklings at LAN parties, though not nearly as high as Alice.

It's about a year old. I've taken off the faceplate for cooling, and I'd take off the side plate if it weren't for the cats. Wouldn't want them playing with the video card cable.

1700 MHZ Athlon XP
512 RAM
GeForce 3 Ti 200
Cambridge Soundworks 4.1 speakers
Windows XP Pro
Cheapo Floppy drive (future PCs will omit this)
Scan Card thing, it can read cards but we don't use it, we got it for the 2 USB ports
Trayless CD/DVD drive
Western Digital 80 GB Hard Drive
A Labyrinth of cables in the back, connecting it to my home network
Microsoft Opitcal Mouse
Microsoft Natural Keyboard
NEC MultiSync LCD 1760V monitor
Saitek X45 joystick/throttle
Monospeaker Headphones (with mike)
Enermax Power supply
HP LaserJet 4L <---This is OLD as hell. Laser printer- needs TONER. Probably Pre-1995.

When Martyr and I first started talking, and he'd tell me about his computers and all his new parts, I'd jokingly ask him if he was trying to take over the world.

Now that I live with him and am sterilized because of his Tower of Awesomeness, I know.
