Do I get a shiny new GeForce 5600 PCI card, or, get the hook-up with a friend and ge a 100$ video card, new processor, new mobo, new case, and potentially have it not be compatible with my pc2100 gig of ram?

Don't spend to upgrade if it's gonna be more than 30% of the cost of a new system.

Also, wait an extra 6 months to buy a system. The extra time will make you appreciate what you're missing while giving the state-of-the-art time to refine itself.

the new processor is an AMD @ 1.6 GHz.

The upgrade will cost 130$


veteran, Im on an eMachine, with no Job. All I can do is sit and drool at "State-of-the-art" :p

Also if you keep waiting for teh new stuff your never going to buy anything.

also the tech cycl has come to its end, the Intel computer as we know it has come to the peak of its cycle its as refinded as its gona get
