He sat in his living room, tapping away at the keyboard. Fingertips dancing in a sequence of unmatched precision over the keys, creating a cacaphonous opus within the quiet room. He paused for a minute, mind scanning itself for the word needed, before the fingers began thier loud, graceful dance over the thick wafer of plastic before him.
A sudden high-pitched squeal emitted itself from behind. Blinking once or twice, he turned on the swivelling chair to see what could have caused the noise. There was no one in the house - He lived alone. Padded footsteps of cotton-clad plantigrade feet reverberated softly in the room, as they glassed over the smooth hardwood. He turned, and peered into the kitchen, which, from this angle, was only viewable as a thin hallway, which later flared out.
Standing in the kitchen was a stepladder. The stepladder, again, lurched violently to the right, leaving deep etches of pale wood in the ladders' wake. He blinked, and walked forward. The stepladder gave another lurch, and then, began spinning in place, creating a high-pitched shriek as wood was torn asunder by bared metal legs. hands went ove rhis ears as he winced in pain from the sound, the ladder continuing its circular path.
The wailing of wood and metal ceased. He opened his eyelids, to have his oculars meet nothing but ebon lack of light. tenuously, he removed his cupped hands from his ears, the tormentuous sound no longer plaguing him. Continuing to search around, he found a small huddled figure, to which he approached and lightly touched upon the shoulder. Upon this contact however, the most disgusting sound of bodily functions took place, as lower mandibular teeth grew staight up, piercing the roof of the mouth, effectively saling the mouth shut. forward mandibular structures fell out of thier sockets, replaced by long, sharp teeth each about 6 inches in length. From molars to canines, each tooth was replaced and grew to the specified length, spearing any flesh that may have been in the way.
The figure suddenly threw himself backwards, as if in seizure. The sickening wet crack of his skull cracking on the floor echoed throughout the dark Chasm, as the living figure slowly backed away, terrified, and awestruck of what was happening. The figures chest expanded, and the sternum, followed by the ribcage, pierced through the heavy lining of the abdomen. Skeletal peices rended themselves out of flesh, still interconnected by hunks of failing sinew and tendons. The skeleton now stood in the remains of the body, corpses' remains splattered about the dark arena. The skeleton turned, smiled, and waved.
The man twitched violently at his computer desk and slammed his head into the keyboard, spasmodically. Blood ran out of his mouth, caused by a large blood vessell exploding in the backof his skull. The pressure had damaged other nearby veins, thus the cause for the oral hemhorrage.
