Ninja Gaiden

I just got this game, and it looks pretty sweet.

I traded the Steel Battalion control rig for it, UT2k4 and WarCraft 3, Frozen Throne (yah, I know it's not an even trade, but believe me when I say that Steel Battalion is not worth $200). It was also a favor; the suppliers of Steel Battalion told my friend (manager of an Electronics Boutique) that he wouldn't be able to get a control rig until June, and I decided to help him out. Steel Batallion is badass, but so is a big chunk of a new PC.

Anybody digging this game? I know it's a console game, so spare me the PC > console shpiel.

My friend at the video game store described this game so eloquently that I was momentarily transported to a sublime realm of pure joy. I'll be damned if I can remember his words, though. Such is the fleeting nature of rapture.

It is fuckin awesome. Then again, I just started playing it and I'm only one the second level, but so far, it has been a pure delight.

Game rocks...don't know about lasting appeal, but so far, it's sick.

Sucks like a fox, or something like that.

I always wanted to run on walls, do flips, shoot shuriken and teleport around, etc. You know, good wholesome ninja stuff.

Ninja Gaiden is a pretty kick ass game. Tenchu has always been my favorite ninja genre game.

I think this is the one I played the demo of the other day in the store. The demo was fun as hell at least, had 3 weapons (standard sword, big ass sword, 2 smaller blades) and I thought it was okay until I started using the 2 smaller blades (Dragon's Teeth or something?). Once I was using those things I was having a blast, running up walls, slashing like a madman seeing if I could put together 100 consecutive hits without a miss. Those blades are so fast he just keeps hacking guys after they're already dismantled. Don't have an XBox, so was disappointed to find out it wasn't coming to PS2.
