The great success of the Soldner closed beta and the numerous enthusiastic feedback of the Community encouraged us to extend the beta phase of mercenary around a further month. This permits to convert us the detailed feedback of the test players 100%, stresses Teut, managing director and Lead designer Wings simulation. From this decision a release shift for the European market on 30 April 2004 results. In North America the release date is 04 May 2004.

I'm trying to stay low key until I get my hands on games these days (not that I've played soldner yet). The only game I'm really stoked for that I won't play for a long time is Warhammer online.

Soldner will be really fun if they get everything clicking. We'll try and keep you updated with the up to date news as it develops.
