Try it out, it's supposed to be accurate to 5 points, so mine is 141-151, 50 points higher than average humans.

164, which sounds like complete bullshit to me. I think this website is only there to flatter people so they'll go off and buy the full service. Its really just one big advertisment.

What a waste of time. I get to the bottom and I click on the send info button, then it wants be to buy some retarded certificate. Most of the answers were true anyways.

111, got bored on the last 10-15 questions and did it randomly. So I'm sure it's a bit higher.

the questions are way too easy to be even close to giving your real IQ, only like 3 questions have difficulty at all..

Didn't bother, becasue after reading the IQ scores people have gotten i can tell its not accurate, the possiblity of having this many people over 160 in one place is very small less than 1% of people have over 140

That test is bullshit. IQ tests are speculative and based on a comparative basis. They want to stroke your ego and take your money, that's what businesses do.

PS I got a 185.

I'll see if i can find a real free, IQ test there

I took one in 6th grade, never found out the results but i know it was above 131, becdsaue thats the minimun for the advanced learning program we have

That test is definately not an accurate test. Real IQ tests have a lot more questions, and there's a reason for that.

Anyway, IQ tests are not a very good measure of intelligence to begin with. I know a couple people with IQs of nearly 200 and they are both retarded (no common sense at all). Seriously, how does the ability to tell what an image will look like in a mirror or picture 3D objects in your head make you intelligent? That's just stupid.

Oh yeah, and real IQ tests are scored with relevance to your age group. Something that that test obviously doesn't do.

Didn't fox have a show about juding the nation's IQ last night? I only caught the last 30 seconds before the news came on, but the smartest person in the crowd, which included a stack of professors and doctors was 131.

But then being praised by Fox isn't something you go sharing to your intellectual friends about...

Be weary of any IQ test that sells you a full report or a certificate :)

reconfirming via email that your IQ Test score was: 188

I could be wrong, but if memory serves me correctly, the average adult I.Q. is 125. Doubt there are that many brainiacs on this forum. No offense anyone.

Cyanide
2004-03-06, 10:33 PM
Actually the average is supposed to be 100 - 115. The real average is probably closer to 90 - 105, seeing as how recent statistic show that the average adult is now of below average intelligence (and obviously the people making those statistics aren't too smare either :D).

I know a couple people with IQs of nearly 200 and they are both retarded (no common sense at all).

That doesn't matter.

Generally, people who are dyslexic, and people who have mental problems, are usually alot smarter than percieved. They just need to break their barriers and learn, I know this, because I used to be dyslexic

I took an IQ test in Primary School, when I was eight, and got an unmeasureable score (too high)... this really surprised my parents, because I used to be such a dumb fuck. From then, I turned around and started getting top grades, and being put in the smart arse classes. I kinda dumbed down in Secondary School though, I had alot of problems with bullies (yes, I'm a fat bastard, so what?), my brother, and I just got extremely lazy and fucked up my GCSE's. Thing is, now I realise what's happened, and it's hell trying to catch up with myself and reality.

The thing about the Intelligence Quotient and IQ tests is that they are pure pseudo-science. There is no way to quantify intelligence.

If you're smart enough to make your own IQ test and give yourself a big score, you deserve it.

Spee
2004-03-07, 12:57 AM
Intelligence is ones ability to learn. Nothing more.

Knowledge, however, is more important than intelligence in today's society.

The result? A backwards, twisted world. School marks are no longer a measure of intelligence, but your willingness to pay attention/work ethic, and thats bullshit.

Anyone can pay attention. The truly intelligent should be able to truly define themselves, not just another 4.0(Which 3/4ths of my school receives on a 6-week basis, regularly.) Accursed 3.2

You want a real IQ test? Take the test that you need to take to get into Mensa. Out of a possible 30 questions, you need 25 or 26 to pass... I got 22.

...and I have an IQ of 2005

In most of the episodes where Q made an appearance I was able to predict the outcome of his actions. Therefore, I am smarter than an entity that has a 2005 IQ. I conservatively estimate my IQ to be in the 3000+ range.

You pea brains!

Yeah that test smacks of Lame.

I've seen a good one on the internet, but being a non-mensa canidate like the rest of you, don't remember where it is!

But for the real one here's some fun averages.

The Average Graduate student (any discipline) has an IQ score of between 127-130.
That's top 98 percentile. (that's on the WAIS standard IQ test)

Anything above 130 is ppretty rare, 1% or less (declining as the number climbs)

The Average American has a 100-109 That's the mean of testing. Anything below 85 is technically mentally retarded.

Anyone who believes they have an IQ above 160 and therefore are in the top .0001% of people on earth because of this test... are stupid fucktards.

My Fiance is a Clinical Psychologist at Colorado State University she works in the Learning assistance center where they give the IQ tests to people to determine both if they need advanced placement, and if they need meds to get through it all.

The lowest she's tested is a 98 the highest was a 137.

Now for the real fun Numbers.

I failed out of High School but finally graduated on the second try at a new school
I never went to College.

I make now, and will continue to make more money per year then 99.6% of college graduates and 97% of people with gruaduate level degrees. (by national averages according to my 2004 taxes)

Last time I took the WAIS I scored a modest 126

It's not how smart the stupid test says you are it's what you do with what life throws at you.

Because believe it or not, unless you are really in the 160+ range then no one in the real world gives a fuck about your IQ, just about your will.

/rant off.

I think IQ is total BS. intelligence shouldn't be measured with a number, on how well you can answer questions, designed by people who may not look at the world the same way as you.

I am a terrible speller, and constantly have to check how to spell words, though I'm getting better. In effect, this would cause me to misspell simple words, and certain english teachers wouldn't necessarily like that - thusly causing lower test scores, and me being considered dumber by peers, by a number.

People who think abstractly I find, seem much smarter in certain ways, than the typical person.
