All the Hatians down here got real pissed at Rockstar for Vice City. One or two Cubans was pissed. Neither Vice City PC nor the PS2 version is availible here. Damn.

Note that the Japanese, Chinese, Mexicans, Colombians, Italians, blacks, and whites have yet to get pissed.

Are there any screenshots of SF? I heard it is ONLY for PS2, isn't VC about as good as graphics get on a large-scale game on the PS2?

VC is a damn fun game though... Even if I am just bored and want to play for 20 min I will load up my save game where I bought the garage and loaded it with every type of bike (and a Limo :D ) and go riding around. One thing that I love doing is getting up to speed on my bike, then slidding it sideways so another bike runs perpendicular into me... If you do it right they go flying and die, and you don't get hurt.

i own a copy of gta2. Got it for a couple of bucks in a bargain bin. It is still fun.

First, duh. Anyone who has played the GTA games from the begginning, and a fair number of people who didn't, already knew where the thrid one would take place as soon as Vice City came out.

Second, not quite. VC took place in the early 80s which it didn't in the original. If this one takes place in the Vietnam era (no idea if it does, haven't really paid attention to it) then again, this would be different.

And actually I kina agree with Vic. My PS2 is over 2 years old, has been smoked around too much and has issues playing anything. So unless I get a new one, I've learned that spending $50 on a game is more frustration then it's worth.

I just rememberd something. Someone once told me if you have a first gen machine you could send it in to replace it, any truth to that?

My friend did that. Took a couple weeks, but he got it back and it was good as new.

I guess I should probably do some research and look into it. Honestly, if PS2s were dow to $100, i'd probably just go buy one. Hard to justify $180 for a new one though :p

Damn right, much more compelling than the GTA games, and some nice little touches (speed limiter for lazy gits like me, the fact that you can't steal a car if you don't know how to)

Give it a go (PC Version), it's cheap nowadays.

I want it... but I hate my PS2... 3 times I've fixed the thing (voiding anything that remained of the warrenty) and it still breaks into the "Disk Read Error" problem after about 3 months... plus what it costs to have the reader replaced isn't worth it... better off buying a new PS2.

I hope they REALLY upgrade the graphics engine on this one. and guys give him a break. this came out only yesterday. finally, a free-roaming game where you can steal cars and beat up old people in LA! I mean, one thats GOOD anyway.
