ER has not been released on DVD yet. Yes I know the first season has, but there are, what, 14 seasons at this point? Charmed is another example. I enjoy Charmed. It has three hot chicks, clever dialouge, and demons. That's about all I need in a show. Yet these are not released.
Angel gets release on DVD. A show about a vampire who is too much of a pussy to actually be a vampire. Sex in the fucking City gets released as quickly as possible, a show about four ditzy chicks who are constantly on the search for cock, and then don't even have the common fucking courtesy to give us some full frontal. But ER? One of the most popular TV dramas of all time? Of course not. What the fuck.
On the upside, I'd be out a lot of cash if ER and Charmed were on DVD. Oh well.

1. No, it doesn't, but then my opinions have always been suspect. :p
2. Yes, it is.
3. No. Well, ok yes Shannon is hot, but she's a Diva bitch. I'm a sucker for red heads though, even if the carpet doesn't match the drapes so I have to disagree on this one.
4. ........arguable, chick who plays Piper (Holly Marie Combs) wins out in my mind though.
5. Yes.
6. No, short hair on women is a crime, or rather it should be (see suspect opinions).
Another opinion was just presented to me: Only lesbians should have short hair, so we know to not even try (*Note* This does not reflect the opinion of this poster in any way shape or form :P).

they did the same thing with West Wing. They are on season 5 right now, and only season 1 has been released on DVD. West Wing has won so many awards, and it's a very popular show. You'd think they would release it, too.

You're complaining that utterly crappy shows aren't available on DVD?
You might as well complain that there are no used band-aid flavored scratch-and-sniffs while you're at it.
I thought ER was for people too sick to change the channel. Wow.

They will all be released in time. I know all 15 series of ER exists in the Bit Torrent community, you just have to find it. It is pretty easy too, I mean there are lots of those sites out there that offer tv series. I know suprnova.org has crap loads of tv series.
Family guy is an awesome DVD set.

I think that DVD releases for series are somewhat limited right now in catering to the more fanatic communities. This explains Family Guy, Buffy, Angel, etc. Some of the more mainstream shows make it to DVD, but even then it's after a very long delay (Simpsons). Sex in the City is an exception to all of this because it's HBO, and HBO has always been pretty good about getting that secondary revenue stream because they know there's a market for them that don't want to pay for the pay channel itself.
I don't know that there's a true market for the more mainstream dramas, which is why they drag their feet in getting them out. I'm sure if there was a bunch of money to be made in releasing ER they'd have done it already. The show is popular with the average viewer, but I'm not sure that equates to the average DVD buyer.
Charmed never seemed to have that large a following, but I'm pretty well talking out of my ass on that one. I'm just basing it on the fact that I never watched it and don't have any friends that watched it. Maybe it would find new life on DVD, like Family Guy, and it would actually take off.

The only show I have bought on DVD so far was Firefly and that was the best purchase I've made in a long time. I love that show, pity the fools at FOX took it off the air.
Maybe it'll come back if the movie is successfull!
