Any Phil Hendrie fans out there?
I consider this man to be the King of Radio, despite the assertions of that detestable cockroach Howard Stern. As for Rush Limbaugh, I'm sure he's glad he has sympathetic traitors for friends, or he would be getting raped daily in the federal prison where so many other drug traffickers and doctor-shoppers have ended up.
Anyhow, back to topic... Phil Hendrie is the funniest guy on radio. No debate is warranted, appropriate or accurate upon this subject. Just listen to the man, and realize that he is able to present the voices of several characters, all of opposing viewpoints, at once, and all with his own voice.
I consider it a mark of the elite to know, love and appreciate (and possibly worship) Phil Hendrie. He is truly the last of the radio giants.

Like him, but he's not on until 10 pm here. I rarely hear him.

I stopped listening to the radio when the music sucked. Especially when morning shows took over, replacing music programs.

We used to have Tom Leykis here, but he got pulled. As for Phil Hendrie, the phone call routines he does gets old really fast.

He's been doing those routines, to huge public approval, since you were a protein stain.

Leykis used to be funny and original, before he became a poor man's Howard Stern. I found him far more enjoyable when he was getting people riled up and conferencing two opposing callers on the line together while he guided the converstation for maximum friction.

Howard Stern is a crock of shit, like Mancow Muller. They're cut from about the same cloth as Eminem.
"Oh my God, the government is out to get me! Look at me, I'm an ass! Look at me, the FCC wants to shut me down! They want to censor me!" If the government wants to censor you, it won't be over you singing "White America" or "Kill My Mom and My Ex-Wife Please" or saying "That girl has great tits" or "The UN has troops stationed in the US at a secret base in Delaware."
Get over yourself, dudes. You are not shocking. You are not FCC Gunbait. If the FCC wants to shut you down, THEY WILL DO SO immediately. They won't ask permission from someone. Fines are levied because you violate the laws.
Howard Stern is facing a flagging career, a declining audience, and the loss of status as the "Jock of Shock" or whatever the fuck he calls himself. He's a conspiracy theorist at best, a publicity-seeking media-hound more likely. He's had the same routine for years and years and no one said anything about shutting down then, did they? It's common for radio DJ's all over the States to do most of the same things, especially if they have a larger audience outside of one small city. What's happening is, people are getting tired of the same old shit. It isn't funny, it's not shocking, and the only way he can get more attention now that his market is wide open, is to claim that the FCC is under Bush's orders to shut him down because Bush wants him dead.
Whatever. The dude needs new controversy since his ego is deflated with the radiowaves being polluted with so-called Stern wannabes. He gets it by claiming radio Armageddon, radio Tribulation times, oh God the end is near!

The only morning show I ever listened to was Lex and Terry. They're from Dallas Texas, formerly of Jacksonville Florida I believe. Broadcast-carried on other stations.

No offense or intent to expound upon a conspiracy theory, but I've heard from a half-dozen internet sites that foreign powers are amassing troops in the good ol' US of A.
I don't know what to make of it.
I'll kill 'em if they get sassy with the Red, White and Blue.

Vet, there are about 400 million people in the states, 50% have guns. 200 million people with guns, shooting at you anywhere you go is virtually impossible to defeat. They can't bring ships or tanks in, they'd get blown away before they got within 500 miles of our shores by our more advanced technology.

Everything on the internet is true, I guess? Come on.
I'm not gonna insult your intelligence. I have a little more respect for you than I do most people. Just think about it. Outside of terrorist and their clandestine organizations, this is way unfeasible.

Vancouver, Canada. And Veteran, I don't know how long Hendrie has been on-air, but I have been around longer.

Indeed, I don't listen to him, I don't particuarly like him, it's just the reasons they took him off, and the fact that ONE company owns pretty much ALL the radio stations, isn't that what got MS in trouble? A monopoly?
