I just bought Creative gigaworks 7.1 speaker for only 328$. Theyre normally 450 to 500 or more. thought ive seen a few prices lately for around 410$ on pricewatch. Thats 100-200 dollars off.

The sale is at Buyextremegear.com I just bought some because it was so low. And it definetely sends you the 7.1s. Or so it said in the confirmation stuff etc.

If you want them and are getting 5.1 instead you may want to jump on this. Ill get them in hte mail in about 3 days. So ill see if i really got the 7.1s. It should be since everything on the site said it was. Oh yea, the 3day shipping is free too.

If its not the 7.1s then all there paperwork lied and they should have to give them to me. But it doesnt look like thats a problem. :brow:

Edit: Either way thats a really good price, but, as youll notice, their URL for the item says S700 Which is the 5.1 set. The 7.1s are the S750.

If you don't have a Audigy 2 ZS 7.1 channel speakers are useless, thats why most people get 5.1's

I have a lower end audigy 2 that only supports 6.1 with 7.1 speakers. At first, only the front three speakers played, but after a while it like somehow adapted to it. They all played when I set the in-comp settings to 7.1 and the software to 6.1 but they would reset when I restarted. For some reason after a lil while (about a month) the stopped resetting and are now defaulted so it works. Weird eh?

Did you try that Upmixing at all with the speakers? On the little command module?
