I know alot of people are looking foward to UT2004 and you probably dont want to install a game on 6 CDs. Only 20,000 copies of the Special Edition are being sold in the US, moral of the story is that if you want to get the special edition do it now. EB Games are only getting 7 or 6 copies per store, and i had to drive for an hour to find a place that wasnt full on special edition reservations. So if your lucky enough reserve it now.

They're releasing a non-special edition DVD version; paying 50 quid for a game is a piss take, especially considering most of what I'd be paying for is a headset, which I already have. Gonna pre-order a REGULARLY PRICED DVD version tonight, get it to my door on the day of release \o/

Same here, I dont see the point it it either. In 1-2 years theres gonna be UT 2005/2006 Specials Editions and it will repeat. Wouldnt mind having it though
But I still don't have a DVD drive in my desktop computer and I don't want to play it on my laptop :(.

edit4: I hear one of the missions (forgot the game type) has over 20 pages in the strategy guide. You have to do a zillion things to win, all with the enemy force trying to stop you. W0w.

Assault? And yea, it's so big cos it's got everything UT2003 had, plus a whole lot more. (UT2003 was 3 CDs).
