There is only one word to describe that...
It starts with O, and ends with FN.

With enough practice, one can do that. He obviously did.
Here's (http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~trspangl/files/aaroninjapan/yasu_max300_feet_only.avi) a rather insane feat that someone out there managed to accomplish... That is the hardest song on DDR, and he got all perfects. As in a 100% perfect score.

Yeah, if you have ever watched anyone play the piano, this video isint as amazing. Thats supposing the piano player was good and all.
Why anyone would want to put that much time into something so pointless...... well, im stumped there.

But don't people on the OF just smash the keyboard with their hands?

A. The video cuts short so I can't see what he got, let alone what song it is.
B. He's a bar raper.
*Edit* Watched it again, he might not be a bar raper, it's kinda hard to tell, but if he's not then God himself came down and gave the man his inhuman balance.
C. It sounded like a MAX song. Legend of Max is probably the hardest arcade song, although that's debatable and varies from person to person. However, it is far from the hardest DDR song (assuming you have your own hardpad and a PC with Stepmania installed that is ;) ). When he can do that to Megaman Perfect, or hell, even Final Fantasy Battle Mega Mix on Oni, I'll be impressed
Everay-
hes using his hands, not his fingers.
Wrong. He's using his fingertips, palms, back of his hand, forearms and elbows.
Once again, entirely possible. Much like the piano, it just takes practice and a lot of it.

I'll bet they sped up the recording to make it look fast.

i doubt that Mango, everything else on the screen was moving at normal speed it looked like.
i, for one, was impressed. people here dont play arcade games because of the fact that there are none. well, maybe a few. but nobody really plays them enough to be good at them :P

Great - you think it is OF_N . Get over yourself - other people haven't seen it before. It is such a pet peeve of mine - people who like to post OF-N on every thread just because they saw the link previously.

I know the song in the video originally posted. If you read Kaikou's post though, you'll see there was another video posted, a video of someone playing Dance Dance Revolution. The song in that video is not a classical piece. It sounded like Legend of MAX, but since the video quality is rather crappy it's hard to tell and thus I was trying to clarify if it was indeed Legend of MAX.
Seems like he just memorized itI agree, at least sort of. I doubt he could do it without seeing/hearing it. However just like anything that requires that degree of technical skill (the piano for instance) muscle memory does play a role.
I'll bet they sped up the recording to make it look fast.
This makes no sense. If they sped it up then it wouldn't it either wouldn't match the music, or the music would be a garbled mess. I've heard that song before, and that is the tempo that song is supposed played at. Another reason it looks almost fake sometimes is the crappy video quality. The camera they used obviously had trouble capturing all of the motion and so a lot of them under up as just a blur which makes it seem like he's doing it faster than he is.
It's not fake, he managed to do it and for him it's probably not even all that impressive anymore. However, whether you laugh at him or praise him for taking the amount of time to learn how to be able to do that is entirely up to you.
