FRAPS Zero. Filming in 800x600 I maintain a constant 30 FPS with everything on high, some of the film is at 1280x1024 and thats a little choppier.

lol, I get all my songs from movies I've downloaded made by other people. I'm not all punk/rock type stuff, i couldnt even tell you the name of the song in there. It seems the majority of the community likes that type of music, so I use it.

Did you have to compress the file? If so, what did you use? I know FRAPs uses a lot of storage and working on a project right now. Any info would be helpful :thumbsup:

I have to agree, great vid, but EVERYONE uses that song in their PlanetSide vids... gets to be a little repetitive. But I DID like the vid, it almost makes me wanna pick up cloaking.

Sentrosi, if the file is compressed, I sure wouldn't know about it. I just film the clips, pop em in Windows Movie Maker, do a little editing and trimming, add a soundtrack, then try to make some of the sequences sync with the soundtrack. I'm gonna make a movie of my gunning for KingOfTheApes with the song "My Durango" (I think, the one in SquadX's movie), just becuase I always thought it was cool to have music sync. One thing is,


MAKE SURE YOU CAPTURE HALF SIZE. You run out of HDD space SOOO fast useing full size, you wouldnt believe it, and I believe your performance is worse too.

Any other questions let me know, I'd be happy to help as much as I can. For hosting, try the neptune servers like mine is on, the free trial, 7 days free and 25 MB holding space stuff.(Unless you've got another server lined up already). I take it the neptune server is working well? If so I might buy membership, only bout 20 bucks.

I don't have any problems with a host. Just wanted to know the entire process you went through.

I have a 160Gb Hard drive with a 40Gb in reserve, so no real worries there. But I see your point on recording at half size.

Lol, i've got footage of me running by a Magrider, AI MAX, and proceeding to boomer a VS Rexo. uncloaked. And no, I do not hack, do not cheat, do not use speedstep, becuase A)I suck too much to be accused and B)I wouldnt have a clue how to, lol


Grey- Get yourself an ATI Radeon 9600XT and overclock the hell outta it and then overclock your processor from 2.6 to 3.2 without coolent. And then hope it doesnt blow up.
