I just joinedd CDL as a pup earlier today. I was expecting a highly organized outfit of skilled players. What I diddn't expect was an instant group of friends. I got both. It inspired me to post this thread. <3 for teh CDL.

If you are a Dragonwolf you are first and last a Dragonwolf. Note that we require all applicants to sign there souls to Manitou before being accepted as full Dragonwolves to ensure this.

Well....maybe it was the hot tub ("man, these bubbles feel great! Ummm...wait...why is the tub off? HAMMA!!! We told you about the Mexican food!")....but you get the idea! Still scarred from that picture. ;) (That was them...right? :lol: )

This was a pleasant thread to see! It nicely corresponds to a five year point in the life of Clan Draconus Lupus. We began 5 years ago with myself, Full Otto, Mossimo, Ground Chuk and PeaceMaker (not the one you all know and love here) and have grown to what we are now.

Appreciate the very kind words. The team I am a part of currently is built of some of the finest people I have known within the CDL in the last five years. I respect and care for each one of them.

Everyone that thought they couldn't join on an alt character, there is hope. My main char is NC markov. I made a new char on TR emerald and joined up while I was still in the training grounds, literaly.

Doesn't help me though, I have 2 primaries (yes, I know that doesn't make grammatical sense) on TR Emerald. I wouldn't mind leaving the one outfit for CDL, but the other I have too much fun with to leave. :) Plus, if the Enforcers didn't have me, they wouldn't be nearly as harassed. ;)

I'd love to join an outfit on the caliber of CDL (sort of like a TR Sturmgrenadier, but not *as* nuts as those psychos....<3 to the SG guys out there! Only kidding!) but at the same time I'm too loyal to my friends to just up and leave an outfit I've been in since....June? July? Shortly after launch is when I hooked up with those loons back when they were the #1 on Emerald for member count.

Thing I like about CDL is that they remind me of my clan that I had from PS beta to right up to Core Combat. Vanu Outfit, we are adaptive gaming now,

Could I join CDL while keeping my NC Emerald character? While I understand your rules, it took me a lot of time (3-5 months) to make my NC guy, and I really don't want to undo all that. I'd play my CDL guy, but I'd like to keep my NC guy for old times sake. Would that be OK?

Let me clarify. You can have an alt character on a different server. But, if you expect to be a Dragonwolf, you will have to delete any non TR characters you have on Emerald. I personally have a Vanu alt on Werner and an NC alt on Markov.

Also, we rarely ever look at ingame accomplishments. This is why every new recruit is granted "pup" status. It's a 30 day trial period that each and every Dragonwolf has had to go through the past 5 years. It's an opportunity to get to know the clan, have us get to know you, and to see what kind of player you are.

Once you're a Dragonwolf, it's hard to go back to any other clan. We've only had one person leave us due to "philosphical differences" since Planetside started. I wonder how many other clans have that success rate?

Just to let you know im the commander of the Air Division of CDL. Just for the braggin rights due Id say our pilots go in this order of skill.

1. ChaosLord
2. Mr. Ducks
3. Peacemaker \ We are basicly equal although I think im a better
4. LunarWarrior/ dog fighter.
5. Strygun
6. Duffman
7. Kaikou
8. Heavygain

Choosing which of the two, Kai or duff is hard b/c Kai doesnt reaver whore but hes a good mossy strafer. Dont get me wrong here though. If we were all given a number from 100 to 0 we would all be between 98 and 96.

If it wasn't for that, I'd give serious consideration to leaving the Enforcers for CDL. However, I can't just ditch a Day 2 character for an outfit simply because the Devs decided that they were going to mash two servers together (My NC was originally on Konreid).

omg u cant forget soar. but im so like the honrary ATACS. when im in a reaver/lib/gal im doing dmg. (just not as much as peace or others) plus i help ATACS with planes on their butts. i deleted a br19 cr3 along with Earlydawn/LNS. so meh
