I have a few questions about the second wind implant. First of all, how much health does it give you? How much stamina does it need to give you that health. If you don't have enough stamina to get the full amount of health, would the implant use up any reaming stamina to give you as much health as it could? Also, when does this implant kick in? (how much health left)
Sorry if its kind of incoherent. Its really late here and im tired.

A) It's a medpack
B) around 15hp and it boots up
C) Takes about 10-20 stamina
It's saved my life a few times back when personal shield sucked :)

If you have no stamina and 2nd wind is activated it will give you stamina (at least it did before the last patch, I don't know about now)

urm it has always drained stamina I thought but in any case officially it uses stamina to heal you

It really kinda sucks though... takes way too long to activate for one. And the health boost really isnt enough to help you a lot when some guy has a sweeper shoved up in your face. Personal shield is a way better alternative right now.

Yeah, it kinda sucks. Personal shield is a better choice for an implant slot if you want something defensive. I find that it would rarely make any difference in battle

It never works for me, thats why I never use it, got killed sevril times when implant was ready, never kicked-in, + shild is good until you have to run for your life.

Seemed like a wasted implant slot when I tried it. Never heard it try to kick in, and died just as fast to the nme HA.

+25 Health and Stamina
It is triggered when you are at less than 25 Health...
Consider it another medkit, cept with adrenaline...

I don't like personal shield nothing eats stamina like that in battle. Then I cant move very fast, and I cant use my other implants. I haven't used 2nd wind in battle yet, but it sounds really usefull to me. Jamming a medpack in the middle of battle has saved my ass countless times. This will allow me to jam 2 med packs in battle instead of one. That sounds great to me. And can someone confirm what sobekeus said that it adds to your stamina? My understanding was that it took stamina.

Second wind is a shitty, half assed medkit that takes six hours to activate, and iirc, doesn't work during the cooldown time for a medkit you punch.

2nd Wind only takes too long to activate when you are losing the battle...
It would be nice if it activiated faster, but its a good passive implant as is...

Plus, I can't find any other implants I like. I use DL and enhanced targeting. Range mag is usless because I have my bolt drivers zoom wich is enough. P shield uses too much stamina in battle. Surge uses too much stamina in rexo. I always forget to turn audio amp on. Melee booster is well usless for me. Second wind is my olny other option unless I am forgeting one.

Get Pshield. It can be useful if your careful or on the defensive. Second wind is simply beyond worthless.
Edit: or just get surge for non-combat applications

Second wind activates under 10 Hp, gives you 25 stamina and 25 Hp. Atleast thats my experience.
Saved me plenty of times.

In my experience Second Wind never kicked in during a heavy assault battle, an attack by a cloaker, or while being attacked by a vehicle in any way that would have made any difference. It only seemed to help if being hit by plasma, getting the occasional peppering by a phalanx or MA user from a distant wall. Never usefull where I actually wanted it to be usefull. Now that Surge is getting nerfed, You might as well just drop the implant entirely (get a vehicle if you want to move fast) and get Pshield. Since any trooper that wants to win will now be wearing rexo, you might as well use Pshield like you used to use surge and maintain some kind of advantage. Second wind wont do the trick, far too inconsistant

It would be a useful implant if it activated in the same time as audio/targeting.

Meh, I have tried it out and Im not that impressed usually die before I get a chance to use it, and once you use it it has to charge up again. Plus, it only gives you 15 health. Once you reach 10 health total it pops you up to 25. Basically the implant ups your maximum health to 115 in a few select circumstances. Another thing I noticed about it that sucks is that it doesn't kick in if something that does a lot of damage gets the final shot. Lets say you are down to 11 health. Something that does exactly 12 health damage hits you and kills you immediately before the implant kicks in. That coupled with the absurdly long boot up time, which is more then twice as long as darklight's makes this a truly useless implant imo.
