I heard about that a couple months ago. It was an article in Popular Science magazine. O F N for me.

edit: in the article I read, it was being used to help handicapped people who are capable of moving their legs, but not supporting their weight. It would be interesting to see where this technology goes...

I saw that projector suit on techtv. From what I see it's pretty much pointless, you need a projector and you are not even totally transparent. Not to mention you need some sort of photo of what you are going to use as your background.

Its a work in progress. serious work isnt suppose to come out until 2008. :lol:

By then they will figure out how to place the projector somewhere behind, like a screen. Obviously they are aiming for this, since they are going to use the technology for airpcraft copit so the pilot has a true 360 Degree view. And with camera that can placed in your mobile phone, its quite possible now to put camera in a optical Camo cloak to view everything and project it on the opposite side. Won't be long until a true stealth Cloak like in Ghost In The Shell style for all you Ninja's!

faster? the guy still has to move his legs. all this thing does is follow his movement. it does not make him stronger, faster, or more agile. just carries his backpack for him.
yes, it could carry his armor for him, and that means all of you might get your MAX suits sooner then you thought. this will probably be used in CQB.
