TOM CLANCY'S SPLINTER CELL PANDORA TOMORROW MULTIPLAYER DEMO AVAILABLE!

Shadownet spies vs Argus Mercenaries.

On Thursday which team will you choose?

PARIS, FRANCE - March, 24th 2004 - Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, is proud to announce today that a multiplayer demo of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow on PC will be available on Thursday, March 25th at 6.00pm (GMT+1) on the official Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow website: www.splintercell.com. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow tells the conspiracy-ridden story of black ops agent Sam Fisher as he explores the shadowy world of international espionage.

Over the Internet, gamers will experience a revolution in online gameplay: for the first time in gaming, players can play from a third-person perspective against others playing in first person. In third-person perspective, play as a SHADOWNET spy achieving Third Echelon's objectives as you infiltrate hostile ground. From a first-person point of view, play as an ARGUS mercenary, tracking and eliminating the intruding SHADOWNET spies. This innovation in perspectives allows the online game to create an incredible tension totally new to gaming. With an offline story as compelling as the original Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and a revolutionary online component, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow is one of the most anticipated games of 2004.

About Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow

Um, I just read it again and saw that... WTF?

Do they honestly think they're the first to ever have that feature? Ever? In gaming? I call gayness.

*edit*
I know what they're trying to say, I'm just saying their wording sucks.

They mean ONLY first person versus ONLY 3rd person. Not that big of a deal though, but it is awesome. Never know when that spy is behind you about to blackjack you with his penis.

dharkbayne, stop that.

"Ubisoft is aware of the problem, and we are looking into it now. We hope to address it quickly--however, we are pleased to report that the bug does not prevent players from playing online, and it does not occur during gameplay. Therefore we expect that players will still enjoy playing Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow while we look into resolving this issue."

The concept is sound. I'll probably pick up the X-Box version so I can avoid all the video lag and such that I'm getting with the PC version.

And after attempting to play for about an hour and 15 minutes total time today, I've had around 20 crashes. And I've only been able to successfully join 1 game... this entire time. In other words as of right now they should call it Splinter Cell: WTF CRASH.

Try hosting a game, it won't crash then, it's just a wierd ass bug with joining servers.

Kinda fun, but nearly impossible for mercs to win. Especially when it's just 2v2. It should be like 8 v 2 or something, now that would be fun.
