Well update time... I applied last month for full-time military. I did the CFAT yesterday (canadian forces aptitude test) and the good news for me is: I qualify for everything even officer posts. Since I applied they gave me the choice of the jobs I could choose in regular forces (non-officers if you prefer).

I am in :brow:. Infantry here I come! I have one more test being the medical one and then I'm off to Valcartier or Petawawa (depending on my choice, franco or anglo program) for basic and infantry training who will both combine to about 5 months total. Six weeks for basic and sixteen weeks for infantry. I'm thinking of trying for marksman (sniper if you prefer).

Only thing that annoys me is being far away from my girlfriend. We have been toghether for some time now and it's actually going somewhere....

I'm not going to be a canadian mounty, I will not be of the parade squad I'm going infantry... wich means if I ask to be shipped I can be shipped in whatever country they want me in or else I get to stay on base at valcartier and help with natural disasters around Canada.
