What about making them able to slide across base walls?

I think they are fine right now if they could slide across it would kill infantry way to easily.

yeah, they own infantry and air quit decently. as is, and if they could slide around they could hit a few to many things.

An Av buff for em would be cool though

:/ Well its only a little after your few kills in the turret that you are decimator sniped. Just thought it would be nice to avoid those nasty little things:P

they could use a slight buff... as they cant hold thier own against anyone with a deci... mabye a shield as a secondary fire mode that uses up rechargable shield "ammo"

Yeah, they could use a user induced shield.

I dunno, turrets chew up tanks as it is. Unless its 1v1 then turrets will ruin a tank's day, they are hard targets to hit due to their weird hitbox when someone is in them and their dot seems about the same as a striker user.

Phalanx Turrets are deathtraps...

They dont do enough damage for how easy they are to destroy...

They have good damage output but once they go down, they never come back up. You are sniper food if you try to repair them and they are constant targets. I think turrets need to be a whole lot harder to blow up

i think that the wall turrets are more of a backup defense. If they really wanted it to be a main defense they would put in the sliding thing, 35mm bullets(or bigger), and a lot more god damn armor. I wouldnt mind them being a main defense but i enjoy the bases the way they are.(with the exception of force domes).

[noob]yeah, give the wall turrets more ammo![/endnoob]

hehe, the sliding thing would be cool, but that would lead to lots of lag, wouldn't it?

Not really.

I think they just need a basic buff to their armor and AV damage.

Or, provide a place that people could repair them with cover, I don't know how it would be implimented, but it would allow people to bring them online with out being sniper.

Tighten the CoF that's wider than my Caddillac Biarritz, nerf the ridiculous sniper dmg, and give it its own 4x zoom...

That wont make them perfect, but it will make them more than something to blow up on the way to the enemy...

The things that are just unfair against turrets:

Decimator
Lancer
Liberator nose gun

I'll even take my chances on getting sniped while repairing the stupid things, and I'll take my chances 1 on 1 vs. tanks as you can often chew through 1/4 of their armor before they get a bead on you. Those 3 things can eat up your turret so fast that you can't even turn to figure out what's killing you before you're already dead.

their ok at the moment, but their cone of fire need to be smaller, you carnt hit anything in the air.

Or inculed rockets to fight off air craftThat would just be an overbuff.

Black if a pilots just sitting there yea your not going to have a problem hitting them, but if a pilot is straffing a turret position., as smart reaver pilots are want to do, a human just cannot track on the enemy air fast enough to do any reasonable damage.

only thing I would like is not having to aim above the target to hit it. I mean sure I can understand a tank for the firing arc but these are standard bullets they can't be bigger then 12mm. you don't have to aim above the target to hit a target with a harraser or a skeeter do you?
