Then wait. It should have worked. I learned this in 7th grade. My bio teacher was a neat freak.

There is only one cure for the hicups as far as I know, but it isn't pleasant. My brother taught it to me, and I have taught it to many others:

I told my brother (older) I had the hicups. He told me he knew how to cure em. He told me to look up and pull on my earlobes and yawn. When I did so, he punched me in the breadbasket (the area where your diapham is) after catching my breath and punching my brother in the kidney, I noticed my hicups where gone. It worked then, and it has worked every other time I or anybody else tried it.

Kinda funny, but not very nice...
