I do believe that PSU already has formed a rather cogent design sheet for Space Combat Expansion...should there ever be a need for one. It's a few pages back, but except for Seer's poo-poo'ing of expansions in general was rather well-received.

There's a lot of game space, Krinsath, and the only way an expansion would work is if it was assured to bring in new players. I guess they could release the expansion and re-release planetside as a gold edition that contained all expansions. That might grow the playerbase enough.
