There are tanks called vaguard and lightning.

i remember dave digging out an OLD design document with the tanurus 2 title on it from the bottom of a box when were moving the offices around.
from what i remember/was told was that way way back when this was just an idea with a single person, it was indeed tanarus 2. this was like 3 years or more in the past. once it became a serious project, it was decided to not make it a sequal and more its own thing. but as you can see it still bears some of the marks from where it came from.
reminds me of when quake1 was actually a fantasy shooter in the beginning, and after some testing the guns and rockets were introduced, but the evil knights and orges still stayed in the game. once you start a project, sometimes you never know where it'll lead ya.
