I do. On seighardt...but considering the crappiness of the servers...and not being able to get in 90% of the time, i havent been able to play lately.

I'm in Bartz, and I started a character on Erica (I think the name was, it's one of the 2 new servers). Which I actually got higher level on, since I played Party with my first character, with another high level character, which meant I got very little xp.

Heh, Darkfall looks nice, but seems a little low budget, and under advertised. MMOGs suck with frew players. Clearly from the popularity of the beta, the US release of L2's gonna be big.

Actually the Darkfall budget is open ended, the publisher isnt on their asses about getting it done...

And it hasnt even gone into Beta yet, so hype is a bit preemptory...

Lineage II sux balls though as a game, not just as an example of how badly servers can be managed....

EQ2 looks good so far. Waiting to get more info on their economic and PvP systems before I buy.

WoW looks simplistic. Like MMORPG-light.

Yea, I just got hold of a beta account. Looks perdy n all that....but it can see it getting old pretty fast. Seems too much like DAoC with PKs. Melee combat's so mindless and dull, I'm pretty bored of that, and I'm not level 5 yet. Do you get like specials and stuff later on, so it's more than 2 clicks and wait to see who dies?

Yes. I think this is a game where all this trudging and boring early leveling will pay off with castle seiges and 1st, specifically 2nd class transfers.

Level 14 Dark Elf mage here. The game is great fun now that I have started to party in SODA. (School of Dark Arts, a duengon) Very fast action, you have to keep moving or keep fighting if you are staying in the same area, mobs spawn fast.

I don't like waiting for games...look drooling over every little piece of info about them till release. When it comes out, if people I know like it, I'll get it.

I don't know how you guys think you can judge a game when you haven't even made it out of the newbie areas or into double digit levels...

I do like RPGs, but levels are just dumb, its an excuse to be unimaginative...

I dont mind a game having lvls. The problem arises is when the entire games focus is on lvling..not even having fun..

Lineage 2 is the only game that im aware of that gives your prizes for being the "first person to reach lvl 40"

Lineage 2 was and is terrible.

It may be a hit in Korea, but it was a bomb in the US.

It plays like a 3d Diablo 2 with more difficulty when it comes to leveling, and a more open pk/pvp system.
